Cavapoo
Character
The Cavapoo, or Cavoodle, is a hybrid dog. It's a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Miniature or Standard Poodle. This popular dog has varying degrees of traits from both its parents, depending on the individual. The parents do have some contrasting characteristics, such as being slightly nervous versus very calm. Many Cavapoos are a pleasant mix or a middle ground between their parents' characteristics. They are cheerful companion dogs who, if properly socialized, get along well with children and can adapt to smaller living environments.
Appearance
The Cavapoo can be anatomically different from one individual to the next. There's so much variation in the appearance of the puppies that there's sure to be one for everyone. Some have shorter or longer legs, a more sturdy or slender build. The curls in the coat range from small curls to long waves. Common coat colors are black, white, (gold/red) brown, and even two- or three-color speckled. The eyes of this crossbreed are dark and medium-sized, and they have fluffy, drooping ears. The average Cavapoo grows to between 30 and 45 cm tall and weighs 5 to 10 kg.
Other details
Cavapoos need a quiet place where they can retreat. Their coat is less allergenic than that of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, but not guaranteed hypoallergenic. It's best to test this beforehand. In any case, you should brush their coat thoroughly regularly, and regular visits to the groomer are also necessary. A puppy from a reputable, reputable breeder can reach adulthood up to 15 years.
